GRI Contracts (4 Days) will help you stand out to prospective buyers and sellers as an agent who has invested the time to develop advanced skills. Topics include lending essentials, residential contracts, appraisals, surveys, negotiations, fair housing, and diversity. Completion of all 3 GRI classes satisfies 90 hours of SAE requirement!
Day 1: Finance & Lending (May 15)
Day 2: Residential Contracts (May 16)
Day 3: Appraisals, CMAs, & Pricing (May 22)
Day 4: Diversity & Fair Housing (May 23)
Day 4 (Diversity & Fair Housing) teaches students to analyze U.S. demographic information to better interpret the impact of current trends on the real estate industry. Examining cultural stereotypes, assumptions, and biases will increase awareness of such thoughts and attitudes and show how to value individual differences. Learning the goals of the One America Principles and Fair Housing Laws and how inclusion and diversity sensitivity can increase business, students will summarize personal goals, objectives, and strategies to create a business plan that incorporates diversity. Students will discuss effective communication styles and how to provide equal service to clients in multicultural local markets and apply an increased level of understanding of cultural attitudes, practices, and communication differences, as well as business norms and etiquette when dealing with clients. This is also testing day!
Achieving the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) Designation equips you with a full set of comprehensive skills and a true understanding of what it takes to be successful! Only 10% of agents in the state of Texas can put GRI after their names and about 5% of MetroTex members!
