REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol

NOTE: Buses are currently full, but let us know if you’re coming to the Capitol with us! We’ll also reach out if any seats on the bus become available.

Short-Term Rentals, Sales Price Disclosure, Property Tax Issues – If any of these topics concern you then join over 3,000 REALTORS® on March 22nd to meet with all 181 legislators to discuss real estate issues on REALTOR® Day at the Texas Capitol. This is a great opportunity to connect with REALTORS®, and learn about all of the legislative issues impacting the real estate industry at the Statehouse.

No prior legislative knowledge needed – attendees will be divided into groups headed by REALTORS® who serve as lead contacts on the Texas REALTORS® Legislative Contact Teams. These group leaders will lead the discussions with legislators.

We will have buses leaving from two locations promptly at 5:30 a.m. Lunch will be included. Buses will arrive back at their respective locations at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Bus 1: Pick up location: MetroTex Irving Headquarters (1701 Kinwest Pwy Irving, TX 75063)

Bus 2: Pick up location: MetroTex Duncanville Service Center (150 E Hwy 67 Suite B-160, Duncanville, TX 75137)

5:00 a.m.: Arrive at your pick up location
5:30 a.m.: Buses depart for Texas Capitol (1100 Congress Ave, Austin, 78701)
11:00 a.m.: Lunch
3:30 p.m.: Board buses to return home
4:00 p.m.: Buses depart
