The National Association of REALTORS® adopted the Code of Ethics in 1913. REALTORS® are real estate professionals who have chosen to join the National Association and abide by its strict Code of Ethics. REALTORS® are subject to disciplinary action and sanctions if they violate the duties imposed by the Code of Ethics. Existing REALTOR® members must complete 2.5 hours of ethics training, meeting specific learning objectives and criteria, within three-year cycles. The current Cycle 7 deadline is Dec. 31, 2024. This course covers the fundamentals of real estate contracts and addenda, those promulgated or produced by the Texas Real Estate Commission and those produced by Texas REALTORS®. The course will focus on contracts and addenda relating to residential property. TREC #42828
