Dallas ISD Students Return To Class Following Tornadoes That Destroyed Their Campus
We at MetroTex were so moved by the generosity and kindness of the staff and students of Franklin Middle School as they welcomed the displaced students from Cary Middle School whose campus was devastated by a tornado in October. The MetroTex Charitable Trust wanted to show our support to these kids and dedicated teachers by honoring their spirit of solidarity with custom designed shirts. The logo, designed by Seth Mitchell and which shows a phoenix rising from a tornado, symbolizes the good that can be made out of tragedy. Thank you to Principal Roger Ceballos and everyone at Franklin Middle School for allowing us onto their campus to help hand out shirts and meet some of your awesome students!
