Handing Over the Keys…but Not Giving Up Our Friendships!

We are extremely excited and pleased to share a monumental change for our association! After many years of planning, and in anticipation of our new HQ building under construction on Kinwest Parkway in Irving, we proudly announce that our Dallas HQ office is pending sale and will officially close on Monday, June 28.

MetroTex has been in the Stemmons location for over 30 years and for many of our members and staff it is the only headquarters they’ve known. Although it is bittersweet, and many will be sad to see this location’s closure, the following sentiments of our esteemed 2021 President, Bill Jordan captures the moment… “All of our recent history at MetroTex took place or centered around the building we are selling. A lot of us made many of the REALTOR® friends we have today working with each other at that location. The good news is we are handing over the keys to that building, not giving up our friendships.”

Since we will no longer have access to the Stemmons office, and our new HQ will not be complete until 2nd quarter of 2022, we will be utilizing our Grapevine office (1681 W Northwest Hwy. Grapevine, Texas 76051) as our temporary HQ. Grapevine, as well as our other service centers, are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm for in-person shopping and member services.

Congratulations to MetroTex President Bill Jordan as the proud owner of the REALTOR® “R” sign that was on our building since we moved to our Stemmons location over 30 years ago. This week we held an online auction for this piece of history, with proceeds going to the National Association of REALTORS® REALTOR® Relief Fund to commemorate their 20 year anniversary. MetroTex has supported the REALTOR® Relief Fund through the years with thousands of dollars donated to help our REALTOR® family and property owners facing disasters all over the country.
