Why Association Leadership Matters

When you become a volunteer leader at MetroTex (or at Texas REALTORS® or NAR), you’re part of something big. You help set the direction for the association and the industry as a whole! And being part of the voice of real estate comes with some powerful perks for you and your business, too.

NAR Leadership Positions Available

MetroTex is currently accepting applications for director positions at the National Association of REALTORS®.  It is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in decision-making and strategic planning.

Applications will be accepted through 5pm on August 1, 2024 so we encourage you to respond quickly if interested. All candidates for NAR Director positions from MetroTex:

  • Must have the endorsement of the local Association
  • Must be a REALTOR® member in good standing of a local association for at least 7 years
  • Must have held office at the local association (committee chair, vice-chair, Director or Officer).
  • Must have served a minimum of 2 years as a Texas REALTOR® Director, or be a TRLP graduate, or chaired a NAR Committee
  • Must have served on a Texas REALTOR® committee or task force for 2 of the last 3 yrs. and attended 4 of the last 6 Texas REALTOR® meetings.

TRLP cultivates leaders through a year-long community of learning. The programs seminars, guest speakers, group discussions, and leadership exercises prepare participants to meet the future of real estate.
