MetroTex Endorses Eric Johnson in Dallas Mayoral Run-off Election

The MetroTex Association of REALTORS^® is endorsing Eric Johnson in his run-off election for Dallas Mayor.  MetroTex President Cathy Mitchell applauded Johnson’s commitment to Texas homeowners.

“There are numerous challenges at City Hall,” said Mitchell. “That’s why we need lawmakers like Eric Johnson who understand the critical role homeowners play in keeping our city and state prosperous, which is why we’ve pledged our full support.”

Texas is leading the nation’s economic recovery, due in large part to its strong real estate market. To maintain that momentum, lawmakers must understand homeowners’ concerns and act to bolster homeownership at City Hall and supporting those efforts is the association’s top priority this election season. Through the candidate interview process of the MetroTex Association of REALTORS^®, Eric Johnson has clearly showed a command of issues critical to sustaining our economy, as well as the needs and challenges our fast-growing city will encounter in the future.
